The new abstract language is diverse, painted on cardboard, paper, canvas or panel. It ranges from collage to paintings small, at 9 x 12 to large at 76 x 67 inches and to sculpture. Room views and framing shown are mock ups to show scale and the art work in a space. Through using colour, form, pattern and scale an endless range of nuance can be expressed. The beauty of abstract work is that it is not necessary to know "what" it is. What is important is how it makes you feel. The language used is visual rather than spoken. In this way the work may speak to anyone who takes the time to look and consider the art. There is no race, religion or cultural barrier. As we all communicate through feeling, we can consider how it feels. Does it provoke new thoughts or observations? Does it resonate with you? Does the work change each time you see it? Is it more than a passing fancy and something that reaches beyond favour and into the self?
